Tawana Fairell-Simmons is a Community Engagement Coordinator at JEA in Jacksonville, Florida. Tawana started her career at JEA in a Customer Advisor role and has since progressed through roles in Human Resources and now enjoys being a part of Customer and Community engagement where she can engage in a variety of community outreach initiatives. She is originally from Brunswick, Georgia by way of Saint Simons Island, GA and is truly a Georgian at heart – GoDawgs! Tawana graduated from Florida State College of Jacksonville with a bachelor’s degree in Supervision & Management.  She is a wife and mother of four children and loves traveling and spending time with friends and family. Tawana is an outgoing person with an Entrepreneurial Spirit and loves to create business opportunities.
