Breanna Martin has distinguished herself through a remarkable combination of academic achievement, technical experience, leadership, and service. Throughout her collegiate career, she has actively pursued opportunities that directly align with the future of the energy industry, including research in robotics and autonomous systems, an aerospace electronics internship, and participation in engineering design and research initiatives.
Breanna serves as Outreach Chair for the USF IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, where she helps engage and inspire future engineers, while also contributing to multiple technical organizations and STEM outreach efforts. Her essay demonstrated a deep understanding of the importance of increasing representation and leadership opportunities for women within engineering and energy fields. Breanna’s passion for power systems, innovation, and community impact made her one of the highest-rated applicants in this year’s competition.

Hannah-Camille Rowe continues to exemplify the qualities this scholarship was designed to recognize. As the 2025 FWELF Scholarship recipient, Hannah has built upon an already impressive foundation of academic excellence and leadership, making her a deserving repeat recipient as she continues to excel throughout her collegiate journey.
Hannah has gained valuable utility-industry experience through her work with Seminole Electric Cooperative, where she has supported transmission planning initiatives and further strengthened her understanding of the electric power industry. Beyond her academic and professional accomplishments, she has held numerous leadership positions, including serving as President of the University of South Florida chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), while also contributing to several additional student organizations and community outreach efforts.
Her sustained commitment to professional growth, service, mentorship, and advancing opportunities for women in engineering reflects the very mission of the Florida’s Women in Energy Leadership Forum.
