DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) Florida Chapter 20th Year celebration. \nOur ten founders were given a template outlined by the AABE National organization\, but they are the ones that fostered the FL Chapter’s foundation that remains today. They positioned our chapter toward implementing new programs\, identifying new ideas\, welcoming new executive board members\, populating new committees and embracing new challenges. \nAnnually\, we average over 80 members\, and AABE FL Chapter members have been at the forefront of cultivating industry professionals to become a more significant resource for their companies and communities. \nAs AABE’s FL Chapter President\, I am grateful to be surrounded by a dedicated executive committee\, regional coordinators and devoted members. Thank you for your energy and optimism as we navigated virtually through the 2020 and 2021 COVID-19 pandemic. \nTo our founders\, sponsors\, partners and program committees\, thank you. SUMMARY:American Association of Blacks in Energy - Florida Chapter 14th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:The AABE Scholarship Golf Tournament is our annual fundraiser benefiting minority students pursuing degrees in Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, Mathematics and Business. \nWe have given away more than $55\,000 in scholarships since 2008. \nThis tournament fills up quickly every year\, so early registration and payment is strongly recommended.   \nAABE is a 501(C)(3) organization.
